STIFF LEG CRANE BARGE

In 2007, U.S. Barge built a stiff leg crane barge for American Bridge Company/Fluor Enterprises, Inc.  Designed by Glowacki Engineering, the finished barge measured 100 ft in width by 400 ft in length.  Upon delivery, the barge traveled across the Pacific Ocean to be outfitted with a 1700 metric ton crane.  The barge is currently in service to support the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge project.
